The two-day training featured interactive and intensive sessions. The first day focused on the Excellence section, covering project objectives, methodology, technology readiness levels (TRLs), and innovation logic; positioning projects within the research landscape in terms of current state and concept development; and the Impact section, emphasizing strong value chain development and alignment with EU policies. Practical insights were also shared on Communication in projects, Dissemination and Exploitation of results, Intellectual Property Rights management, and Open Science.

The second day was dedicated to consortium structures, balanced distribution of roles, and alignment of work plan and budget. During the “Proposal Clinic” session, participants presented their sample project ideas and received direct feedback. The day concluded with discussions on common mistakes, illustrated through sample evaluation reports, along with practical recommendations shared first-hand by the expert on how to avoid them.

By providing participants not only with theoretical knowledge but also practical experience, the training is expected to contribute to equipping all stakeholders to better prepare for Horizon Europe projects for the Battery calls.
